Has anyone used these self water boxes from Lowe’s ?

Well I have a friend who makes her own pots that all you have to do is water the plant once a week
I've used them with pepper plants & they worked great. but not with cannabis. I was thinking about them the other day & wondered whether they would work well.
I’m satisfied so far with it .
I’ve seen some DIY projects done with 5 gallon containers online . Just happen to have the box from growing tomatoes 🍅.
